The Sidney Green Award shall be awarded to a student(s) meeting the following criteria:
- Student must have a minimum of 2.50 GPA;
- Student must be majoring in sociology with junior or senior standing;
- Student must complete a UNLV scholarship application;
- Preference given to a student demonstrating financial need through the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);
*Unless otherwise noted, all students who fill out a FAFSA or alternate need form and meet the criteria for the scholarship will be considered. No other application is needed.
*Selected award winner’s name is due to the College of Liberal Arts Dean’s office by December 1st.
