The annual Michael and Geri Rumbolz Scholarship shall be awarded to a student(s) meeting the following criteria:
- Student must be formally admitted to UNLV;
- Student must be enrolled full time as a junior or senior, with preference to juniors;
- Student must major in Political Science;
- Student must have a cumulative collegiate GPA of 3.25 or higher;
- Student must have graduated from a Nevada high school; and
- Preference will be given to past recipients of the Michael and Geri Rumbolz Scholarship.
Pending funding availability, it is the intention of the donor that a student(s) receive this scholarship for a maximum of four semesters, provided they maintain the scholarship criteria and remain in good standing with the institution.
*Unless otherwise noted, all students who fill out a FAFSA or alternate need form and meet the criteria for the scholarship will be considered. No other application is needed.
*Selected award winner’s name is due to the College of Liberal Arts Dean’s office by December 1st.
