Every semester the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (housed in the Graduate College) and the Desert Research Institute co-sponsor a Postdoctoral and Faculty Social event. These events include opportunities to:

• Learn about key campus resources for postdocs and postdoctoral benefits
• Meet the administrators and faculty who can help a postdoc make the most of their experience at UNLV
• Hear from faculty panels regarding their own postdoc experience and transition to a faculty position
• Hear lightening talks by postdocs on their research and its significance
• Network
