UNLV Department of Dance returns with the Annual Ballet/Jazz International Summer Intensive. The intensive will feature a progressive approach and classical foundation to both of these styles of dance. Classes in the past have been taught by Dolly Kelepecz, Toni Rodriguez, Richard Havey, Clarice Geissel- Rathers, Sean Cronin, Alison Kravenko, Turchimeg Turbat, and Aaron Turner.

Classes will begin each day with a Pilates awakening class. Ballet technique will follow and the morning will finish with pointe, men’s class, or Partnering. After a 30-minute lunch break, the day will continue with jazz, focusing on musical theater, classical jazz, and contemporary jazz, as well as a funk/hip hop fusion style of jazz. A stretch class will wrap up the day.

UNLV is located approximately two miles east of the Strip. There are many affordable hotels and entertainment options near the UNLV campus.
