Doctor of Musical Arts candidate Tianxi Wen conducts the UNLV Symphony Orchestra to perform Carmen Suite No. 2 of Georges Bizet and Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto of Chen Gang and He Zhanhao. The recital's poignant theme is "Romantic Tragedy."
