Description
Doctor of musical arts in guitar performance candidate Michael Root presents a lecture recital titled "Use of Effects to Convey Narrative in Classical Guitar Repertoire." Root will explain and show demonstrations of the use of effects in guitar music, especially the narrative-based programmatic works of Nikita Koshkin's "The Prince's Toys Suite" and Francis Kleynjans' "A l'Aube du Dernier Jour."
Parking
Attendees are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage. If you are parking during enforcement times—7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday—you must park in visitor spaces and pay for hourly parking through the PayByPhone app or online.
