This symposium aims to educate, share ideas, and work to serve the needs of first-generation students, faculty, and staff at UNLV. The symposium will feature a keynote address by UNLV Alum, Nevada Assemblywoman Erica Mosca.

In addition, Alejandra Campoverdi, nationally recognized women’s health advocate, producer, former White House Aide to President Obama, and author of First Gen: A Memoir, will be a featured guest during a live virtual presentation and discussion. The symposium will culminate with a luncheon panel discussion including UNLV first-generation students, faculty, and staff. Space is limited.
