F23 Service Day: Project 150

Description

Service Day is a day of service hosted and put on by UNLVolunteers. Service Day sends 200 or so UNLV students out into our Clark County community for three hours of service with various community partners located throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Participants are expected to meet on campus starting at 8 a.m., where they will meet with their group site leader and enjoy some light breakfast refreshments provided by UNLVolunteers. Volunteers, under no circumstances, will be allowed to meet at the site first.

Please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and long pants. All participants will also be given one of our F23 Service Day shirts for them to wear.

Project 150's mission is to provide support and services to homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students so they can remain in school, graduate, and build bright futures.

Service will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a total of three hours of service hours credited and will return to campus by 1 p.m. to enjoy a free lunch provided by UNLVolunteers. 

You must follow all guidelines provided by Project 150 at all times. By signing up for this shift, you are agreeing that you will follow and abide by all of the rules and guidelines provided by Project 150, including any Covid Guidelines that Project 150 may ask you to follow.
