F23 Service Day: Opportunity Village

Description
Service Day is a day of service hosted and put on by UNLVolunteers. Service Day sends 200 or so UNLV students out into our Clark County community for three hours of service with various community partners located throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
Participants are expected to meet on campus starting at 8 a.m., where they will meet with their group site leader and enjoy some light breakfast refreshments provided by UNLVolunteers. Volunteers, under no circumstances, will be allowed to meet at the site first.
Please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and long pants. All participants will also be given one of our F23 Service Day shirts for them to wear.

Opportunity Village serves people in Southern Nevada with intellectual and related disabilities, to positively impact their lives and the lives of the families who love them.
Service will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a total of three hours of service hours credited and will return to campus by 1 p.m. to enjoy a free lunch provided by UNLVolunteers. Volunteers at this site will assist the events team on seasonal projects, which may include HallOVeen/Magical Forest clean up and/or tear down.

By signing up for this shift, you are agreeing that you will follow and abide by all of the rules and guidelines provided by Opportunity Village, including any Covid Guidelines that Opportunity Village may ask you to follow.
