Placement Tests

Intensive English Program students will be placed into class levels during ELC welcome day on the first day of UNLV classes, which is on August 24th, 2026.

Students seeking placement into first-year English Composition courses (ENG 101/113) will need to take the English Composition Placement Test. Please email englishcomposition@unlv.edu or call at 702-895-3533 to schedule a placement test.
