How to Seek Support

If you have been sexually assaulted, or think you have been but are not sure, you are encouraged to connect with an advocate:

Confidential Advocate

Non Confidential Advocate

  • Law Enforcement: 911
  • University Police: 702-895-5575
  • If you make a report to law enforcement they’ll get you connected to a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) Exam

The evidence collected from a rape kit will be necessary if you decide to press charges later.

If you have been sexually assaulted, please do not: bathe, shower, douche, change clothes, smoke, or brush your teeth until you have spoken with a medical provider.

You may still seek medical care if you have done any of these things. If you changed clothes, bring the clothes you were wearing in a paper bag or pillow case to the hospital with you.
