Winners of the high school fair may qualify for the Regeneron ISEF competition. The ISEF provides an opportunity for the world's best young scientists to come together to share ideas, showcase cutting-edge science projects, and compete for awards and scholarships.

The Beal Bank USA Southern Nevada Regional Science & Engineering Fair (SNRSEF) is licensed by the rules and governances of the International Science & Engineering Fair affiliation, a program of Society for Science & the Public in Washington, D.C. The license allows students in the Southern Nevada region who attend public or private schools in Clark, Lincoln, Nye, and Esmeralda counties, and who are home-schooled in this area to have the opportunity to participate in the fair. Other students in the state of Nevada may participate as long as it is approved by the fair's director. ISEF affiliation requires that high school students (grades 9-12) follow guidelines established by the ISEF.
