Please note that all new degree-seeking students will be charged a one-time, non-refundable orientation fee whether or not the student attends orientation.
Incoming First-Year Students
All incoming first-year students are required to complete Online Pre-Orientation and attend New Student Orientation. Students must complete Online Pre-Orientation before their orientation session. First-year students must attend the entire program.
Incoming Transfer, Military & Veteran, and International Students
All students are required to complete Online Pre-Orientation and attend New Student Orientation. Students must complete Online Pre-Orientation before their orientation session. Students must attend the entire program.
Military & Veteran Students
Military and veteran students are also required to attend the Veteran Victory Seminar (VVS) either on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 (In-Person).
Military & Veteran Students must complete the Military & Veteran Transition course in WebCampus before their scheduled VVS session.
International Students
International students are also required to attend the New International Student Seminar on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 (In-Person).
International students must complete the New International Student Guide in WebCampus before the seminar.
Exemptions
If an extenuating circumstance prevents you from completing orientation, you can request an orientation exemption. Request an orientation exemption during orientation registration, which is located in the to-do list of your MyUNLV account. Orientation staff will review these requests on a rolling basis and notify you if your request has been approved or denied.
