Since being founded in 2018, Rebel Media Group has had the good fortune to see hundreds of UNLV students pass through its ranks. Many of that number have gone on to successful careers in social and digital marketing, making use of their experiences through RMG. Here we spotlight just some of our successful alumni and how they’ve used skills acquired by working in RMG to achieve their professional goals.

“I now work as a digital content producer at the Las Vegas Review-Journal. There, I work to upkeep the website, write stories, upload them, and manage their social media. I am also getting my Master's degree in Journalism at UNLV, and teaching 3 sections of Journalism 107 (All Things Media: Foundations) to first year journalism students. Rebel Media Group has helped me in so many ways throughout my professional career, especially when it comes to managing the RJ's social media accounts!”

“I graduated from UNLV and Rebel Media Group in fall 2022. During my last semesters at UNLV I got an internship with Pinkdoor Agency, a small local social media agency in Las Vegas. From there I moved up to a full time position as social media coordinator once I graduated.

I am super thankful for Rebel Media Group, as it gave me the opportunity to become team lead and essentially learn my job early on. Rebel Media Group gave me the confidence to know I was ready to take on my “big-girl” job. From how to manage a team to how to schedule a post, Rebel Media Group taught me skills that I use daily in my job. I know I will continue to expand my skill set, but I am super grateful I got my head start with RMG.”

“Since graduating during the 2020 pandemic, I can attest that my experience under Rebel Media Group was instrumental in helping me secure my first full-time position out of college and making the first step in my career. Having work to show in a portfolio was a key factor in helping to bolster what I was telling interviewers, and the experience of working with people who are solely focused on your development gave me a clear picture of what I could expect when I started my career journey.

Moving forward from RMG, I've held positions at one of the top cannabis dispensary companies in the state, managing the social media presence and marketing for a multi-location retail operation. Currently, I am managing marketing and social content for a prominent video production studio in Los Angeles, California.

In each of the steps my career journey has taken me on, the work I did with Rebel Media Group was always front and center in my portfolio and were topics of discussion in interviews. I truly can't say enough about how important and worthwhile of a resource RMG is to UNLV students.”

Headshot of Kei Chua

“Graduating in spring 2020 was certainly a challenge with the COVID pandemic, but since my time at Rebel Media Group, I briefly had a stint doing #AgencyLife, and now I am currently the marketing manager for Infantry Inc., a local hospitality group. Their portfolio consists of Herbs & Rye, Cleaver, and a yet-to-be-publicly-announced upcoming third concept. They are listed among North America's 50 Best Bars, recipients of two Tales of the Cocktails Spirited Awards, and have an amazing steak happy hour.

To this day, I credit Rebel Media Group in teaching me invaluable skills in leadership, organization, and professionalism, but also for providing amazing life-long bonds made with peers and mentors."

Headshot of Haeli Paris

“After graduation, I worked at several marketing agencies, where I continued to expand my skill set into brand strategy and design as well as develop new strategies to help clients achieve their marketing goals. I put my education and experience to use in a variety of different industries and companies across the Las Vegas Valley. I have worked in advertising, graphic design, social media management, and marketing campaign development.

Currently, I am thriving in my role as a design and digital marketing coordinator at Coldwell Banker Premier Realty, the most recognized brand in real estate, where I create company wide initiatives, forward-thinking marketing strategies, and effective tools and resources to support over 250+ real estate agents in their marketing efforts. Rebel Media Group holds a special place in my heart for providing me with an invaluable opportunity to grow and cultivate my skills, and for entrusting me with the task of creating their inaugural logo – a design that still remains as a prominent emblem of the student agency to this day. I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support and mentorship I received during my time with Rebel Media Group.”
