Financial Aid & Scholarships

The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships supports students attending UNLV who are eligible for federal financial aid and/or UNLV institutional aid.

While some students may not qualify for federal financial aid, we encourage anyone who believes they are ineligible to submit a case through the Rebel Success Hub or visit a Financial Aid Counselor in SSC-A, Room 232, for a consultation.

All students are strongly encouraged to submit the Institutional Aid Application (IAA) as soon as possible after Oct. 1 to be considered for available funding. Please note that funding is limited.

How To Apply

You can complete the Institutional Aid Application (IAA) for the following academic year as early as Oct. 1. Complete your application through the Rebel Success Hub.

How to Log In to the Rebel Success Hub
  • Incoming Undergraduate Students: Log in using the email address and password from your undergraduate admission application. If you haven't started an application, create your profile.
  • Current Undergraduate Students: Log in with your ACE credentials.

Tips and Advice

Consider reputable, free scholarship searches online. Many non-UNLV scholarship opportunities are available to students who are ineligible for federal aid programs.

Beware of scholarship scams. You should not have to pay money to apply for or obtain a scholarship. The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships cannot recommend any particular search engine, since there is no way to monitor the many online resources for validity.

Financial Aid Counselors are available to provide advice. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects your personal circumstances and information. This law safeguards your educational record.

Payment Plans

The Cashiering & Student Accounts office offers a monthly payment plan for all students. This option lets you spread out tuition and fee charges over several months and stay in good financial standing with UNLV.
