The UNLV College of Engineering will recognize the winners of the spring 2024 Fred and Harriet Cox Senior Design Competition during an awards ceremony and gala.

The awards ceremony is a biannual event that honors the Senior Design teams that took home first and second place prizes across a range of categories, including commercial potential, sustainability, popular choice, discipline-specific awards, and a grand prize. Award winners are chosen during the competition, where a panel of industry judges make their determinations on which prototypes rise above the rest.

At the gala, a precursor to UNLV's spring commencement ceremony, teams celebrate their winnings alongside UNLV Engineering professors, leadership, family and friends.
