In partnership with the UNLV Graduate College, Brookings Mountain West is pleased to offer a workshop titled, "So You Want To Work In Foreign Policy?" featuring Brookings Senior Fellow in Foreign Policy, Amanda Sloat. Sloat has served in a range of sectors: academia and think tanks, development (with time in war zones), international organizations, and the U.S. government (Congress, White House, State Department). She will answer questions, and discuss the opportunities that led her to Brussels, Belfast, Baghdad, and beyond.
