About the McNair Scholars Institute:
Free services include:
- Faculty mentoring
- Graduate Record Exam (GRE) prep
- Doctoral studies preparation seminars

To be eligible you must :
- Be a UNLV undergraduate student
- Have completed at least 59 credits
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Qualify as a low-income and first-generation college student, OR belong to a group that is traditionally under-represented in graduate education
