Sample descriptions will be provided for participants to respond to following a brief lecture about how and why being prepared with some of these statements can make your lives easier!

Brittani Sterling, social sciences and interdisciplinary studies librarian, will help you become knowledgeable of various statements that may be asked for in you future academic journeys. You will have the opportunity to craft a statement of you choice, and seek feedback in a group setting. There will also be a Q&A about best practices in statement creation from a faculty member who regularly has to prepare and update them.
