Southern Nevada Conservancy is partnering with the Forest Service, so they will be hosting a tree planting event that day. As volunteers, we will work alongside them and plant trees as our service activity. It is recommended to bring working/gardening gloves, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water and close-toed shoes. We will be reaching out with further information as the date approaches, so please be sure to keep an eye out for our correspondences.  

As for the timing of our event, we will be meeting up at the Student Union Eating Bar at 7:30 a.m. Please plan to arrive on time as we will be conducting an educational portion as well as get to know each other prior to the event. After, we will head over to the event location, which is Mt. Charleston (Further details will be provided closer to event). Please keep in mind that we have limited van space for around 10 people, so if you are able to, please arrange your transportation. The volunteering activity will take place from 9 a.m. to noon.
