This interactive workshop will help participants master three skills. The first is respectful listening, in which the listener fully hears and understands what is being said. In the second, reflective listening, the listener reflects back what was said. The third, productive listening, has the listener ask questions that make it clear that they understood what was said. When put together, they make up the principles of thoughtful listening. After learning about each skill, the group will participate in an exercise that demonstrates it, and engage in discussion about it.
