Description

The GPSA Council of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, meets monthly on the first Thursday at 5:30 pm during the fall and spring semesters. It consists of 56 department-appointed representatives, each with one vote, serving as advocates and communicators for their academic units within the graduate student government.

The Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) aims to support, advocate for, and build camaraderie among graduate and professional students, focusing on scholarship, research, and community. The Council is supported by an Executive Board, various committees, the GPSA Manager and Advisor, and a faculty advisor from UNLV or the Graduate College Dean. In accordance with NRS 241.020 (Nevada Open Meeting Law), meeting agendas are posted on-campus and online at least three business days prior to the scheduled meeting date.

Admission Information

Admission free and open to the public per Nevada Open Meeting Law. You may attend in person at the Grad Gateway Building (second floor, the end of the hall in the Gather meeting room) or join virtual via Zoom (passcode: 88429386).
