Diversity Dialogues: How Compassion Leads to Peace During Difficult Times
When
Apr. 24, 2024, 4pm to 6pm
Campus Location
Office/Remote Location
Room 135
Description
Acknowledging that we live in difficult times around the planet, we will be asking how peace is possible. One answer suggests that compassion is spiritually connected to the goal of real peace, personal and collective. We will explore the relationship of compassion and peace and other ways in which peace might be achieved, by inviting faith leaders to speak from their own experience, and by inviting an inquiries from the audience about these difficult times and what might be a way forward. Our hope is that participants will come away more hopeful and empowered in their own search for real peace, personally and collectively.
