Description
On September 27, 2007, the US Congress established the Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI). The purpose of this program is to improve the availability and quality of postsecondary education programs to support low-income, first generation Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) students. Join Kristine Jan C. Espinoza, doctoral student in the Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education at UNLV, and Kyle Ethelbah, director of UNLV’s AANAPISI Support program to learn more about UNLV’s efforts to support this community.
