Description

The Center for Urban Water Conservation, a joint research facility for UNLV and UNR, supported by the City of North Las Vegas, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary with an open house.

Learn about gardening from the experts, take a guided tour, buy some plants for your yard, stroll through the orchards, relax, and breathe in this oasis in the desert.

This event is held in partnership with the UNLV College of Education. College of Education guests will receive a BOGO deal on plant sales.

Things to consider:

  • This event is held outdoors, bring appropriate attire.
  • This event is family friendly, but because we have multiple plants that have spines, we ask you to keep your children with you at all times.
  • Please keep your pets at home.
  • This event has restroom facilities on site, near the entrance.
  • Parking is on the street outside the facility. Handicapped spaces are inside the facility, next to the 4734 Horse Dr. gate.
  • Debit/Credit cards and cash accepted. Discover cards not accepted.
