11th Annual Summit on Nevada Education
Campus Location
Description
Join us at this year’s Summit on Nevada Education as we recognize the resilience and determination needed to improve Nevada's education and mental health spaces for students of all ages and stages. We'll explore a wide array of topics, including education funding, private and charter school approaches, and celebrate innovative partnerships and effective approaches that are driving positive change in our schools and communities.
About the Summit
Now in its 11th year, the annual Summit on Nevada Education welcomes educators, administrators, policymakers, community leaders, teacher preparation leaders, pre-service teachers, and others with a direct link to education and mental health to gather in an open forum to share ideas, challenges, and lessons.
This year’s event will include a breakfast and luncheon, as well as a mid-morning coffee break, for attendees to relax and network.
Opportunity for Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
UNLV's College of Education, in partnership with CCSD and the Nevada Department of Education, will provide certification for completed professional development instructional hours toward teaching licensure renewal. Participants will earn two CU hours for attending. If you need a CU certificate, please mark the appropriate box when registering, and a certificate will be emailed to you shortly after the event.
