The ECE Advisory Board is the industrial advisory board of the department. The membership is drawn from local, regional and national industries. Their mission is to advise the department on its programs, curricula, research and development projects and outreach to the community. The board also works on raising funds for department awards, scholarships, and other activities. The board usually meets twice a year, in October and April. A typical agenda for the meeting includes approval of minutes of the previous meeting, state of the department presentation by the department chair, presentation of curricular issues, accreditation preparation, discussion of suggested projects, and general topics.
