Celebrations of student success are inclusive, student-focused events designed to recognize and honor the academic and personal accomplishments of students from varied cultural backgrounds. These events highlight the rich heritage, traditions, and experiences that shape the UNLV community. They provide an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to come togethr in a spirit of celebration, cultural exchange, and shared pride in student success.
MSI Week
The annual Minority-Serving Institution (MSI) Week was established in 2021 as an initiative of the Minority-Serving Institution Student Council (MSISC). MSI Week serves as an opportunity to host a week-long series of campuswide activities and events focused on elevating the voices of historically underrepresented and marginalized ethnic student groups, faculty, and staff. All events are open to the entire campus community.
First-Generation Celebration Week
