What is Event Pass?

Similar to a mobile boarding pass used on airlines, every UNLV student has a secure and unique mobile Event Pass for check-in at events. When you arrive at events, pull up your Event Pass and the event organizer can scan you in. Your Event Pass is unique to your student profile and does not change over time. This means that you can download it from the Involvement Center the first time you use it, then save it to your mobile wallet or screenshot it and add it to your favorites for quick and easy check-in at future events.

How Do I Access My Event Pass?

  1. Visit the Involvement Center website.
  2. Sign in using your ACE account.
  3. Tap the profile icon in the top right corner.
  4. Tap Event Pass
    Save to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay or screenshot your pass for quicker check-in at our next event!

Step 1: Download the Event Check-in App

Navigate to the App store on your mobile device and download the “Campus Labs Event Check-In App”

Step 2: Create an Event in the Involvement Center

  • Visit the Involvement Center website and log-in using your ACE account.
  • Under the My Memberships section, click on your organization.
  • Click the MANAGE ORGANIZATION button in the top right corner.
  • Click the menu button in the top left corner (three horizontal bars), then choose Events.
  • Click the blue CREATE EVENT button in the top right corner.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to input the event details.
  • Click the blue COMPLETE EVENT SUBMISSION button.

Note: you must be listed as an officer in your organization to create events.

Step 3: Check Guests Into Your Event With the App

  • Visit the Involvement Center website and log-in using your ACE account.
  • Under the My Memberships section, click on your organization.
  • Click the MANAGE ORGANIZATION button in the top right corner.
  • Click the menu button in the top left corner (three horizontal bars), then choose Events.
  • Click on the event you previously created.
  • Copy the 7-digit alphanumeric ACCESS CODE.
  • Open the Campus Labs Event Check-In App, enter the access code, and click Start Session.
  • Log-in with your ACE account.
  • Tap the Start Scanning button.
  • Hover your mobile device over the guest’s event pass until their name appears, then tap Check-In.

Note: you must be listed as an officer in your organization to access your event access code.

Additional Resources

If you plan to use the mobile Event Pass for check-in at your organization’s event, we highly recommend posting clear signage so attendees know how to access their event pass. Feel free to print any of these signage resources and display them at your check-in. You can also view helpful videos to learn more about Event Pass.
