About the Las Vegas Urban Forest Center
The Las Vegas Urban Forest Center is funded by a 5-year, $5 million grant from the U.S. Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry Program.
The goals of the Las Vegas Urban Forest Center are to:
- Plant 3,000 native and drought-tolerant trees in neighborhoods in the Las Vegas Valley
- Educate 45 arborists-in-training in a paid, 20-week workforce development program
- Educate the community about the benefits of urban forestry

Free Tree Planting

If you live in our planting zone, please fill out an English interest form or Spanish interest form and we will contact you to schedule a site visit.
