Biography

Alison is an Professor-in-Residence in the College of Sciences. She is the coordinator of SCI 101, the First Year Seminar for students in the College of Sciences. In 2016, she also created Rebel Science Camp, a STEM outreach program for 5th grade students enrolled at Title I elementary schools in the Clark County School District. The program’s hands-on science activities are facilitated by undergraduate Student Leaders enrolled in SCI 499. With a background as a geologist, Alison also teaches geology field courses during the summer term.
