The ChemShare program allows participating UNLV faculty and staff to share information about chemicals available in their laboratory inventories with other participating users. Through CHIMERA, participants can search the ChemShare inventory to identify chemicals that may be available from another participating laboratory before purchasing or disposing of additional materials.

ChemShare can help reduce unnecessary chemical purchases, minimize the accumulation of excess chemicals, and support the efficient use of existing chemical resources across campus. Participants can search for available chemicals using information such as chemical name, synonym, CAS number, or manufacturer information and can contact the listed laboratory to inquire about obtaining the available material.
