There are many opportunities for departmental administrators to learn more about research administration. Two institutions in particular provide regular national and regional training and conferences. National Council for University Research Administrators (NCURA)
NCURA serves its members and advances the field of research administration through education and professional development programs, sharing of knowledge and experience, and fostering a professional, collegial, and respected community.
Society for Research Administrators (SRA)
SRA serves research administrators around the world in all settings to include universities, hospitals, nonprofits, the government, and for-profit companies. The diversity of our members and their areas of interest within research administration are a key strength of the society.
