Before You Get Started

  1. You will need a category 5e or greater Ethernet (patch) cable. Plug the cable into your TV’s Ethernet port and into the correct wall jack.
  2. You will need the wired (LAN) MAC address from your TV. Please consult the sections below on how to find your TV’s MAC address.

How to Locate Your MAC Address

To locate your Insignia Smart TV wired MAC address follow these instructions:

  1. Press Menu on the remote.
  2. Select Network.
  3. Select WIRED.
  4. The MAC address needed to register your Insignia Smart TV will be listed as either Ethernet Address or Wired MAC Address.

To locate your Samsung Smart TV wired MAC address follow these instructions:

  1. Press Menu on the remote.
  2. Select Network.
  3. Select Network Settings.
  4. Select WIRED.
  5. Select Network Test.
  6. The MAC address will be listed as either Ethernet Address or Wired MAC Address at the top of the screen.

To locate your Sharp Smart TV wired MAC address follow these instructions:

  1. Press Menu on the remote.
  2. Select Initial Setup.
  3. Select Internet Setup.
  4. Select Network Setup.
  5. Select Connection Type.
  6. Select WIRED.
  7. Select IP Setup.
  8. The MAC Address should be on the bottom of the page.

To locate your Sony Smart TV wired MAC address follow these instructions:

Older TVs

  1. Press the Home button.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Network Setup.
  4. Select Wired Setup.
  5. Click on Network Setup – Status and the MAC Address should be on the screen.

Newer TVs

  1. Press the Home button.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Preferences.
  4. Select Setup.
  5. Select Network Setup.
  6. Select Network Setup – Status and the MAC Address should be on the screen. Please ensure it says Wired and not Wireless.

To locate your Vizio Smart TV wired MAC address follow these instructions:

  1. Press Menu on the remote.
  2. Select Network.
  3. The Network Connection menu displays.
  4. Selection Manual Setup. The IP Settings menu is displayed.
  5. At the bottom of the menu the RJ45 MAC address is displayed.

To locate your LG Smart TV wired MAC address follow these instructions:

  1. Press Settings on the remote (gear icon).
  2. Select Network on right hand side (purple icon).
  3. Use arrow keys to select wired connection (Ethernet).
  4. At the bottom of the menu the MAC address is displayed.

To locate your Roku Smart TV wired MAC address follow these instructions:

  1. Open the home screen on your Roku from your TV
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to Network.
  4. Select the wired connection.
  5. The wired MAC address will be listed as either Ethernet Address or Wired MAC Address.

To locate your Amazon Fire Smart TV wired MAC address follow these instructions:

  1. Go to your Home Screen
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to System
  4. Go to About
  5. Go to Network
  6. Locate the MAC (Hardware) address

Register Your Device

  1. Using a computer, go to the device enrollment website.
  2. On the enrollment page, enter your ACE password, check box "I accept the acceptable use policy".
  3. Enter in the MAC address of your TV; select "media" as device type.
  4. Valid email address, mobile number and service provider are optional fields.
  5. Click Enroll Device.
  6. Once your device is enrolled, reboot your TV. Your TV should now be online.
