Four Reasons to get your EMHA degree at UNLV

  1. Opportunity for Growth: According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of jobs for medical and health service managers is projected to grow by 23 percent between 2024 and 2034, resulting in approximately 62,100 new job openings. This statistic does not include positions beyond managerial roles, so it is likely even higher.
  2. Higher Earning Potential: Healthcare administrators typically earn competitive salaries, and holding a master's degree such as an EMHA can lead to higher earning potential compared to those with only a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field. The median salary for senior-level executives is over $400,000.
  3. CEPH Accredited: The UNLV School of Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) which signifies a commitment to high-quality education in public health, ensuring a curriculum that prepares students with essential knowledge and skills.
  4. Career Acceleration: Developed for mid-career clinical and management professionals, the EMHA will build upon the skills you already possess preparing you for the next step in your career. The EMHA does not require an internship which means you will graduate sooner.
