The NWCCU accreditation process is an 8-year cycle. UNLV's schedule is as follows:
- Fall 2028 – Mid-Cycle Review and site visit
- Fall 2030 - Policies, Regulations, and Financial Review
- Fall 2032 – Year Eight Report (Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness) and site visit
