Employment with University Police Services is conditional upon successful completion of the following:

  • Background investigation
  • Written examination (University Police Officer I applicants only)
  • Physical agility test
  • Polygraph examination
  • Medical examination
  • Psychological evaluation
  • Drug screening test
  • Candidate interview
  • Any other tests or interviews required by this agency
  • Successful completion of high school and/or college, dependent upon the position

Applicants who have successfully completed their application for full-time police officer will be notified when the next written examination and physical agility test is scheduled.

The aforementioned tests will be administered in a manner selected by University Police Services. Successful completion of this process does not guarantee employment with University Police Services, only that successful applicants will be considered for positions as they become available.
