Annual Giving

Unrestricted support, referred to as “annual giving” dollars, is one of the most important fundraising priorities for UNLV, as the university has few other sources of flexible funding. Annual Fund, Dean’s Associates, and Rebel Athletic Fund (RAF) contributions allow UNLV to act quickly to address campus needs, take advantage of special opportunities, and support programs related to raising private funds for the university.

Annual Fund

The UNLV Foundation invites gifts for the Annual Fund from alumni, faculty and staff, students, parents, friends, and corporations in several ways, including the Rebel Ring Phonathon, direct-mail appeals, and membership in our leadership giving club: 1957 Society - formerly President's Associates, President's Inner Circle, President's Corporate Council. Every year, Annual Fund donors generously contribute more than $1 million dollars that UNLV uses to respond to academic and campus needs.

College and Program Giving

The Dean’s Associates and the Student Life Associates programs encourage a broad base of annual, unrestricted resources for the individual colleges and programs at UNLV. The dean of each college, the dean of libraries, and the vice president for student life use the funds for innovative academic opportunities, including scholarships, fellowships, professorships, and support for research, teaching, and service.

For more information about giving to a specific college or program, you’ll find the college or program contact in our staff directory.

Rebel Athletic Fund

The RAF supports UNLV student-athletes as they strive for excellence academically, socially, and athletically. This mission is achieved by providing financial support for each of our 17 intercollegiate sports programs.
