About Us
UNLV Global serves as the gateway for international students and scholars arriving at UNLV and the central hub for the university's global initiatives. Our mission is to promote intercultural understanding and global learning by connecting study abroad, immigration compliance, English language training, international student support programs, and global partnerships.
We enhance UNLV's global community by enriching educational experiences and facilitating knowledge-sharing across borders. Our goal is to support international mobility, ensuring students, scholars, and faculty have the resources and opportunities to engage in meaningful global experiences.
Our Units
International Student and Scholar Compliance
The Office of International Student & Scholar Compliance (ISSC) provides immigration support and advising for international students and scholars, including assistance with immigration records and regulations, visa and travel issues, and support for employment eligibility.
International Success Programs
The Office of International Success Programs supports international students’ transition to the U.S. by offering arrival programs, mentoring, and cultural events to enhance their university experience and create a strong sense of community and belonging.
English Language Center
The English Language Center (ELC) offers personalized language support to help multilingual and international students communicate confidently and effectively in academic and professional settings.
Study Abroad Programs
The Office of Study Abroad Programs provides resources for students to study, intern, or volunteer abroad while earning academic credit and gaining a global perspective.
International Partnerships
The Office of International Partnerships manages international memorandums of understanding (MOUs) and cooperation agreements (CAs), assists with international delegations and visits, and offers guidance for internationalization activities.

International Student Handbook
The International Student Handbook, created by UNLV Global, will help you feel prepared, supported, and ready to make the most of your experience.
