The School of Integrated Health Sciences welcomes the active involvement of leaders of the health and research communities as members of the SIHS Advisory Board. The advisory board was created to provide advice, counsel, and support to the school and to serve as the key interface between the programs and the Nevada business community.

The mission of the Advisory Board is to aid department committees by utilizing the experience and expertise of the board members in defining and realizing the goals of the department and in serving as consultants on strategies and programs.

Alex received his bachelor's degree from Northern Arizona University.  He is currently a physical therapist, an orthopedic certified specialist, and a certified McKenzie therapist.  He and his wife own and operate Comprehensive Therapy Centers. He is married with two daughters and three grandchildren.
