The scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) applies evidence-based, rigorous research, analysis and reflection across the disciplines to identifying and disseminating effective teaching and learning practices in higher education. At UNLV, many members of our teaching community are engaged in this kind of research, and the office of the provost encourages such work.
