Description

The UNLV School of Music presents the American Prize award-winning UNLV Wind Orchestra in "Spellbound." The concert, conducted by—Professor Thomas G. Leslie; Zane S. Douglass, Associate Conductor; David Coyner, Assistant Director of Bands; Ocean Akaka, Masters Conducting Assistant; Charles Greggerson, Doctoral Conducting Assistant; and Kauri Koizumi, Masters Conducting Assistant—will feature award-winning soloist Laura Taylor; award-winning pianist, Dave Loeb, awarding-winning composer Jorge Machain, and saxophone soloist Max Marquis. The evening's program includes Laura Taylor’s "Spellbound" (arranged by Douglass), "Goin' Home featuring Laura Taylor, and a medley of work from John Williams' greatest movie scores including The Cowboys, The Flight to Neverland, Lincoln, and Catch Me If You Can.

$10 discounted tickets are available to seniors, military members, and UNLV faculty and staff, and all students. All students may also receive one free ticket with valid ID.

Event Parking

UNLV Performing Arts Center patrons are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage. Parking is free after 7 p.m. Monday - Thursday, after 1 p.m. Friday, and all weekend. Visit UNLV Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
