Description

Join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars at our concert, "Cosmic Horizons." Prepare to trek across the galaxy as painted by a variety of talented composers and brought to life by the Flute Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Marta Plominska. Experience the celestial wonders through Gustav Holst's nimble "Mercury" for flute choir and John Rutter's grounding "For the Beauty of the Earth." Phyllis Avidan Louke's "Cloud Images" will paint ethereal landscapes, while Ricky Lombardo's "Adventures in Space" propels us into the unknown. Peter Senchuk's "Beyond the Night Sky" beckons towards distant galaxies, Catherine McMichael's "Salt of the Earth" grounds us in humanity, and Ann Cameron Pearce's "Cosmic Horizons" stretches our imaginations to infinity. Don't miss this unforgettable journey through the stars!  Reception to follow in the lobby.
