Description

"Swiping Right on Your Data" is a fun, Love Data Week workshop that introduces students to intriguing datasets from the humanities, arts, and cultural studies. Participants will explore historical archives, literary corpora, and digital museum records, discovering the fascinating stories hidden in publicly available data. Along the way, they will learn how to evaluate, compare, and “match” with the right dataset, while generating ideas for research projects, digital humanities work, or creative data-driven storytelling.

This workshop is part of the Rebel+ Libraries Workshop Series.
