Join us for an evening of art song with soprano Emily Dirks and pianist Jae Ahn-Benton. Texts in different languages and styles join together to celebrate the joys and pains of love. Emily is a student of Dr. Monica McCullough and this is her first degree recital as she works towards the degree Doctor of Musical Arts.

The program includes selections from Bellini's Composizioni da Camera, three of Schubert's most beloved art songs, including "Gretchen am Spinnrade," Canciones Classicas Españolas by Fernando Orbradors, and selections from The Wider View by H. Leslie Adams.
