Description

In this huddle, participants will learn formal relaxation techniques to support periods of relaxation and self-care. Research shows that “relaxation” reduces stress and muscle tension, improves brain function, and reduces risk for depression, anxiety, and some chronic medical conditions. To boost your health and wellness, it is important to regularly carve out time for relaxation and to unwind amidst a busy schedule. Check-out this group to learn and practice new relaxation techniques, such as guided breathing, guided imagery, and progressive muscle relaxation.
