Description
In honor of Earth Day, UNLV is hosting a recycling event in the Thomas and Mack parking lot adjacent to the Tropicana parking garage. This event is open to anyone in the Las Vegas community and will provide an opportunity for people to shred papers and recycle their traditional recycling, electronic waste, and paint.
Attendees are encouraged to bring in their unwanted electronic items, including:
- Computer towers, laptops, tablets, and flat-screen computer monitors
- Cell phones, office phones, and table-top printers
- Loose wires, power supplies, hard drives, and adapters
- AV equipment, servers, modems/routers
- Keyboards and mice
The following items will not be accepted:
- CRT monitors
- Flat screen or tube/rear projection TVs
- Copiers
- Printers
- Alkaline or household batteries
- Lamps/bulbs
Traditional recycling for paper, steel/tin cans, plastic bottles/tubs, cardboard, glass, and aluminum, will also be available.
Admission Information
This event is free and open to the public. No tickets or registration required.
