Description
This workshop focuses on understanding sociocultural constructs related to (dis)ability and bodies. We will discuss and explore how a person defines (dis)ability, the role of crip theory, and how oppression influences the concept of worth and value based on one’s perceived abilities and productivity. We will seek to liberate ourselves and others from bias and oppression related to (dis)ability.
