Join UNLVolunteers and the Southern Nevada Water Authority for their annual Green-Up event. At the Green-Up we will take part in a large collective action to plant trees at the Warm Springs Natural Area. Help the Southern Nevada Water Authority “Green-Up” the Warm Springs Natural Area with new native trees and shrubs. 

We will have very limited transportation provided for the first 12 volunteers and will be meeting bring and early outside the Student Union starting at 7a.m. for a quick educational activity before heading out on a long drive to the Warm Springs Natural Area.

Please plan on wearing long-sleeve clothes and long pants as well as closed-toe shoes. Food will be provided by the Southern Nevada Water Authority but unclear on water as of this moment.

The Green-Up itinerary is as follows:

- 7 a.m. Volunteers meet at UNLV for a quick educational activity

- 7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. UNLVolunteers leave to Warm Springs Natural Area from UNLV Student Union

- 9 a.m. Volunteers arrive at planting area

-  9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Planting

- 11 a.m – 12 p.m. Lunch and Natural Area walkabouts
