Description
Student Diversity Programs invites the entire UNLV community—students, faculty, and staff—to join Real Talk: Chisme con Cariño, an open conversation exploring the experiences of Latinx students balancing family, culture, and college life. Facilitated by Fatima Suarez, associate professor of sociology, this event provides a space for dialogue, sharing stories, and learning from one another across the UNLV community.
Participants will discuss strategies for navigating academic responsibilities, cultural expectations, and personal goals, while building connections and celebrating Latinx identity.
Refreshments will be provided by Empanada Factory.
Join us for a meaningful conversation, community building, and celebration of culture and connection.
